BALMAIN BEAUTY - ROUGE

For director Sean McKenna’s senior thesis, I served as Lead Production Designer on two Balmain fragrance spec campaigns, developed in collaboration with the brand’s Senior Art Director, Ben Pietrusinski.

For Rouge, I designed a rooftop environment overlooking a city skyline, drawing from Pierre Balmain’s connection to 1940s Hollywood glamour and grit. I constructed and fabricated a custom building ledge with faux brick finishes, steel detailing, and a built flue, creating a functional structure for on-camera movement. I oversaw flooring installation and led the setup of all scenic elements on SCAD’s LED volume stage.

Working closely with the LED Technical Director, I ensured alignment between the digital backdrop and physical set, creating a cohesive and immersive visual environment.
