For this editorial photoshoot, I designed and constructed a hand-painted backdrop to frame a narrative exploring the cultural and political relationship between women and their hair.
I scenic painted plywood panels and built a freestanding structure using Hollywood flats, creating an enclosed, box-like environment that guided the model’s movement and composition. I also curated props and contributed to on-set styling, incorporating elements like oversized shears and natural textures to reinforce themes of control, identity, and transformation.
