I was commissioned by Savannah-based drag artist Amerys The Empress to design and fabricate a large-scale seashell prop for her Miss Savannah Pride pageant performance and editorial series, The Re-Birth of Venus.

I hand-carved, sculpted, and scenic painted a five-foot-tall shell, developing layered gradients and iridescent finishes to echo natural forms while amplifying stage presence. The structure was built atop a rolling base, allowing for mobility and integration into choreography on Club Ones stage.

Working from initial mockups developed with Nathanael Oz, I led the fabrication process from hot wire cutting and shaping to detailed airbrushing and final assembly. The piece functioned as both a performance centerpiece and a photographic backdrop, bridging theatrical spectacle with visual storytelling.
